Our Services

Safe Serene Wellness Checks

For families who live out of state, or simply can't visit as often as they'd like, peace of mind can be hard to come by. Safe Serene Home Solutions offers what a phone call or a well-meaning staff update can't: an independent, trained observation of your loved one's physical health, mobility, cognition, emotional well-being, and environment. We notice the details a trained eye catches that an untrained one might miss — the subtle changes in gait, mood, or care that words alone don't always capture.

We're there when you can't be, so you're never left wondering.

Home Safety & Aging-in-Place

For families who want their loved one to stay safely at home, knowing where to start can be overwhelming. Safe Serene Home Solutions offers what a general checklist can't: a comprehensive, trained review of the home environment, mobility, and daily routines to identify risks before they become emergencies. We notice the details a trained eye catches that an untrained one might miss — a loose rug, a hard-to-reach shelf, a bathroom setup that's one misstep away from a fall.

We're there to help you plan ahead, so independence isn't left to chance.

  • Comprehensive home safety review and fall prevention recommendations

  • Aging-in-place planning

  • Adaptive equipment recommendations

  • Hospital discharge home setup

  • Home modification guidance

  • Personalized written safety report

  • A customized Living Well Plan outlining next steps, priorities, and recommendations

Dementia Support & Care Guidance

For families navigating a dementia diagnosis, the home that once felt safe can start to feel full of unknowns. Safe Serene Home Solutions offers what general advice can't: a trained, dementia-specific review of the home and daily routines, backed by Certified Dementia Practitioner training. We notice the details a trained eye catches that an untrained one might miss — the environmental cues that affect wandering, agitation, or confusion, and the small adjustments that preserve dignity and independence.

We're there to guide you through every stage of the journey, so you're never navigating it alone.

  • Dementia-friendly home safety reviews

  • Environmental safety recommendations

  • Caregiver education and support

  • Community resource referrals and care coordination

  • Guidance when considering assisted living or memory care

  • Compassionate guidance for every stage of the journey

Getting Started Is Simple

You don't have to figure it all out on your own. Here's how it works:

Step 1: Schedule a Free Consultation

Reach out by phone, email, or fill out our simple intake form. We'll ask a few questions to understand your situation and what kind of support would help most.

Step 2: We Visit Your Loved One

Whether it's a Wellness Check at a facility or a Home Safety Review at home, we conduct the visit in person, with the training and care your family deserves.

Step 3: You Receive a Clear, Written Update

After the visit, you'll receive an honest, easy-to-understand report — including any recommendations — so you know exactly how your loved one is doing and what, if anything, needs attention next.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Safe Serene Home Solutions?

We provide independent wellness checks, home safety reviews, and dementia care guidance for older adults — whether they live at home, with family, in assisted living, memory care, or a skilled nursing/long-term care community. Our goal is to give families peace of mind, wherever their loved one calls home.

Who is this service for?

Families who want an independent, trained set of eyes on a loved one's well-being — especially those who live out of state, have a busy schedule, or simply want a second perspective they can trust.

What's the difference between your three services?

Safe Serene Wellness Checks are visits to a loved one in a facility (assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, or long-term care) to observe their overall well-being and safety. Home Safety & Aging-in-Place Review is an in-home analysis to identify fall risks and support independent living. Dementia Support & Care Guidance is a specialized version of our home review, tailored to families navigating a dementia diagnosis.

Are you a medical provider?

No. Safe Serene Home Solutions is a non-medical consulting service. We do not provide medical care, treatment, diagnosis, or skilled nursing services, and we're not a substitute for a loved one's physician or facility care team. Our visits are independent, observational, and advisory.

What happens during a visit?

During each visit, we observe and document key areas of well-being or home safety, depending on the service booked. Afterward, we provide a written summary with an honest, clear picture of how things are going and any recommendations.

How much does it cost?

Wellness Checks and Dementia Support Visits are currently offered at an introductory rate of $125 per visit, with discounted rates available for recurring visits. Aging-in-Place consultations start at $150. Pricing may vary based on individual needs and services requested.

Is this covered by insurance or Medicare?

No. Our services are private-pay and are not covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or most private insurance.

How do I know which service is right for my situation?

That's exactly what a free initial consultation is for. Reach out and tell us a bit about your situation, and we'll help you figure out which service — or combination — makes the most sense.

Do you serve clients with dementia or memory loss?

Yes. As a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Lisa has specialized training to support families navigating a dementia diagnosis, from home safety considerations to caregiver guidance.
